For us, it all starts with the soil. With Judy Jordan’s deep understanding of geology and the interaction with soil, climate, rootstock, and clone, every step of the way from farming the grapes, to making the wine, to enjoying it, are meticulously reviewed and continually improved.
Winemaker Melissa Stackhouse has an in-depth knowledge of the Russian River Valley and its unique terroir. As a certified sustainable winery, everything that happens in the vineyards affects winemaking. And the winemaking methods and techniques we use are focused on delivering J’s essence of style – a combination of balance, elegance, and varietal expression.
